Ellen S. Cappellanti, Esq.
Ellen is a member and president of the Discover the REAL West Virginia Foundation. She served as an Ambassador on the Project Harvest II Trade Mission in 1997 and on the Project Harvest III Trade Mission in 1999. She is active in the State Bar and is a frequent lecturer on commercial law issues. In addition to her professional activities, Ellen is involved in numerous community organizations. She is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sunrise Art Museum, and serves on the Board of Directors of the YMCA of the Kanawha Valley, Contemporary American Theater (Shepherdstown), the West Virginia State Museum Board and the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences. Ellen Cappellanti is a resident member of the Charleston office of Jackson & Kelly PLLC and is the administrative manager of the firm’s business and commercial law department. Ellen regularly represents companies in buying and selling assets and in financing transactions. She also specializes in real estate development. Representative clients include banks, hotels, manufacturing and retail concerns, coal companies and golf and ski resorts.
