J. Edward Dawson
Ed has served as a board member of the West Virginia Hospital Association, The Independent Colleges of West Virginia, as well as the Discover the Real West Virginia Foundation and was President of Sleepy Hollow Country Club. He is the past Chairman of Thomas Memorial Hospital and has served as Chairman of Berkley County Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the United Way. He is an ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church. |
Ed is a Business Development Associate with Smith Barney. He began his career with Smith Barney as a Financial Advisor in January of 2000. Before joining Smith Barney, Ed was the President & CEO of Huntington National Bank of West Virginia, a $2.3 billion bank. He spent 27 years in banking before retiring in 1997. In 1989, Ed testified for the Banking Industry to the members of the United States Congress. Also, Ed spent 9 years lobbying for the American Bankers Association.
